Welcome to our first post of an Art of Style Client Concept. We have been trying to determine how we can serve our online AoS family with the details that go into a client project, while still keeping the client experience private and exclusive. We hope you enjoy and as always we love any feedback or comments you have for us!
First things first we chat with our clients about what we are dressing them for. It could range anywhere from a specific event or an entire new wardrobe. If this is a new Art of Style client we will meet for a consultation to get to know them, see where their wardrobe is currently at. We get to know them for them with a series of personal questions, as the art of dressing someone is extremely personal. If the client is a repeat we will often step right into the concept collage for the client, or if they have had a major life change such as a new job, weight change, relationship status, etc. we will schedule an in person consultation.

Strategy
After our consultation we step into making a game plan for shopping. We are constantly in stores for merchandise fittings, which allows us to online shop for the first round of items. These fit sessions help keep the client invoice for shopping time down as we already know how a product is going to fit. We put together a collage of images for our client (keeping private) and then send to them and discuss over a phone call.
Next we order the goods!
We needed a neutral statement jacket that translates well and accentuates her figure.
To take advantage of a jacket that will accentuate your figure, balance it with the proper waist line. You can not go too low of a rise when something hits at your hip bones. The inch of space between your jacket and your low rise is not flattering. We repeat do not try this at home. We went for a ultra high rise to wear with a tucked in top and the flair cropped bottom adds an extra pizaz. Then to round out the best use of a neutral jacket we added a black and an ultra light wash denim to the collection both with medium to high rise.
My gal is a happy simple so we kept the top a tee and in the neutral playing field. That surly does not translate into average or basic. The happy saying is a personal touch, while this white tee is quite possibly the best tee on the market. Ultra soft and not see through. It is clingy though so I would either order up or expect it to hug your curves.
Not for this client, but post bonus! A silk camisole is also a brilliant pair back option for the jacket.
The shoes are loud and we are so proud. We have major fun with our clients shoe wardrobes. Quite possibly our favorite thing to shop for and make a subtle look a freaking show stopper.
Topped her off with some hardware.
Delivery
Once we have placed our orders, based on delivery time, we set up a fit session to try the product on with our clients. We either use the stock image from the website or take images during the appointment for the clients virtual closet (we will show this to you guys in a future post!) and style looks for them with the new product mixed back with items currently in their wardrobe.
End Result
At the end of the appointment our clients are left with new duds that create a purposeful wardrobe for them. They feel personally supported by each item in their wardrobe selected them specifically for them and with the assist of their virtual closet they will never forget what to do with each item. Boom Baby.
