Personality Prints
Blue and white checks, purple and white stripes, been there seen that on every frat boy out there. Take a step out with confidence this Fall by wearing your personality on your sleeve with prints that share more about who you are. Look for prints in colors that pair back with other colors already in your closet. Just because you are working with prints does not mean you need to be BOLD. Prints can be inspired by places you like to travel, palm trees, Indonesia decor, etc. Most importantly be you!
Put a ring on it…..
The gentleman’s fashion rings have been making a sneaky entrance since the 70s. It is an accessory that many man are hesitant to try and feels more for rockers and tattoos dudes to most, but we promise any guy can rock a non marital ring. It is about finding the right style. Your every day watch is a great guide line. Is it silver or gold? Techy or vintage? Check out some inspiration photos and shop around!
Sophisticate Your Graphic
We quickly welcomed denim into the office, the sneaker we are still swallowing but becoming more comfortable with the likes of Cole Haan and and Timberland, yet the graphic tee is going to take some discussion. We are all about the look for a business casual out of office event, or if you were in a liberal environment. Woman have been pairing graphic tees back with their pencil skirts since 2009 so it was only a matter of time the gentleman took this trend on for themselves. Be mindful about the actual print and the audience you will be around. Save the profanity tees for moments your sports coat is not required and keep the prints to conversation starters.
Playful Prints around the office
Similar to the above personality print, we are enjoying working with more playful styles in the office for our clients. Take a brief separation from your checks and stripes and go for unique art deco prints or florals. The prints should not distracting be districting yet outfit enhancing. The more broad your chest the larger the print size can be.
Navy + Olive = Color Mates
There are few colors that have gone together for the test of time and will forever go together against all trends. Our favorite, NAVY & OLIVE! The colors are rich, casual, playful, timeless, rugged, and we could go on and on. This is a Fashion 911 tip for when you want/need to look like you have your shit together and you have no clue what to wear. Grab something in these two colors and 9.5 out of 10 times they will go together effortlessly.
Shirt Jacket
Ahhhh the shirt jacket. In this feature image notice how the gentleman left the bottom button unbuttoned. This is SO part of the shirt jacket trend, but not necessary for every body type. The shirt jacket is awesome for this time of year when the weather is changing and you need that light layer. It has a utilitarian vibe and styles with pockets on the chest really broaden the shoulders in a strong chiseled way.
Ombré
Ombré a style that may not be as popular right now, but you heard it here first. Ombré for men is about to be everywhere and we are already super into it! It is probably one of the most fashion forward, yet subtle ways to elevate your style. Keep ombré colors neutral for the most sophisticated way to rock this trend.
Monochromatic
Monocromatic is a fancy one word way of saying you are wearing all the same color in different shades and look super super cool. Keep from looking like a canvas of one color by wearing similar shades. When creating this look picture a paint strip with the one color in different shades and pull a look together with those variations of shades. This is a very simple yet affective way of taking your casual clothing and making them look dressier. This really comes in handy for traveling!
