One of our goals at Art of Style is to create purposeful closets for all of our clients. Each item is mindfully selected for you and your lifestyle. One of the first stages of working with our clients, and sometimes the only stage a client hirers us for, is a closet cleanse.
Over time it is natural for us to accumulate abundance in our closet and let it sit and collect dust. Or maybe your life has transitioned and it is simply time to let things go, but it is OH SO HARD because you invested money into that wardrobe! Trust us we totally understand. But we also have seen time and time again the magic that happens when we bring our professional opinion and trained eye to an overflowingcloset, to a place where everything has a purpose. Part of our closet cleanse service is taking care of resale and donations for our clients. We have not felt peace about the locations getting our donations and have had a heavy desire on our heart to find the perfect fit for all these amaizing donations.
We are tickled pink to announce Art of Style has officially partnered with Traffic 911 to provide Grab Bags for their first response teams. In June 2017 U.S. Government approved Traffic 911 to be immediately notified when a victim is found/rescued. A first response member will be called and within an hour be on scene with that victim. As you can imagine victims are generally experiencing high levels of emotional trauma and are generally in explicit or worn clothing. Having someone not in a uniform nor of a non “authority” position on scene with these victims and to comfort them in the first hours after rescue is crucial in these girls recovery. Each moment is so precious through this transition.
The Grab Bags are made through a collection of our clients clothing from closet cleanses, as well as donations we collect. Each response member will be stocked with a full size run of Grab Bags at all times. Grab bags will contain a full outfit; t-shirt, sweater, jacket, bottom, undergarments and flip-flops. Most victims are women 15-19, but unisex t-shirts and sweats are accepted.
